Scottish Premiership: Rangers face Falkirk live on Sky, Hearts look to stay top and can Celtic stay in the race?

Hearts' title destiny remains in their own hands with six games to go, but expect more twists and turns in the most dramatic campaign in Scottish Premiership history.

The Jambos continue to lead the way, one point ahead of Rangers, who are live on Your Site on Sunday, with defending Champions Celtic a further two points behind.

Then there is the relegation battle, with just five points between eighth and 11th heading into the Premiership split.

There is little room for error when it comes to the title race, but both Hearts and Rangers need to do something they have not managed to do so far this season - beat Motherwell and Falkirk.

Derek McInnes' leaders are at home to the Steelmen on Saturday, having drawn with them home and away this season.

After dropping points at Livingston, the Jambos will be hoping their home form continues after winning each of their last four league games at Tynecastle Park 1-0.

Motherwell had been included in the title talk until a recent dip in form - they have taken just one point from their last four as they now chase European football for next season.

Rangers travel to Falkirk on Sunday, live on Your Site, aiming to improve on their back-to-back draws against the Bairns.

Danny Röhl's men are unbeaten in their last 14 league matches, but Falkirk are also a side in form. Last weekend's 3-2 victory away to Motherwell was their third win from their last five games in all competitions.

Celtic's hopes of winning the league for the fifth year in a row looked to be in tatters after a 2-0 defeat at Dundee United before the international break, but Kelechi Ineahacho's winner at Dundee last weekend has them very much back in contention.

While the other title chasers are facing sides they have yet to beat this season, the Hoops have only lost one of their last 39 home games against St Mirren - in January 2021.

They will be hoping it's the season on repeat this weekend so they can move above Rangers into second, a point behind Hearts.

The Buddies have won their last two league games but lost their previous six and remain at risk of ending the season in the relegation play-offs.

Livingston may be all but certain to drop out of the Premiership after just one season back, but it is tight in the battle to avoid the relegation play-offs.

Dundee, St Mirren, Aberdeen and Kilmarnock are all set for a tense end to the season. There are just five points between them all with six games left to play.

It is Killie who sit 11th, but have hit some home form of late, winning four of their last five league games at Rugby Park.

Neil McCann's side host Dundee on Saturday who have suffered back-to-back defeats - a third straight loss would see them dragged to within two points of their opponents.

Aberdeen started last season with an incredible unbeaten run and ended it with Scottish Cup glory. Now it is a battle to guarantee they are not relegated for the first time in their history.

No side has lost more games in the Scottish Premiership this season than the Dons (18, level with Livingston), and it is a tough test this weekend against Hibs are unbeaten in their last six in the league.

Defeat for Aberdeen would see them sit 11th heading into the Premiership split if Kilmarnock win and St Mirren take at least a point at Celtic Park.

The drama continues at both ends of the Scottish Premiership.
